About
I am from Arkadelphia, Ark., and have been around Ouachita my whole life. I was a
fifth generation Ouachita student! My wife is a professor in the Kinesiology department,
and we got married on campus at Berry Chapel in 2021.
Fun Facts
What is your favorite Ouachita memory?
My favorite Ouachita memory is Battle of the Ravine every fall. I loved the week leading
up to the game and being able to guard the Tiger throughout the week with my fellow
students. Then being able to go to the game and experience the great atmosphere is
always something I would look forward to every year.
What do you wish students knew about Ouachita?
I wish students knew more about how great Ouachita is at preparing you for the next
stage in your life. Whether that is spiritually, emotionally or professionally, Ouachita
really can help you be prepared for the future when you graduate.
What is a favorite moment of working with students at Ouachita?
What I most enjoy about working with students is being able to go with them through
the process of Ouachita becoming their home. From the initial application process
to move-in day, it is rewarding to be able to work with students and their families
to achieve their dreams of coming to Ouachita.
What is your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite spot to study on campus was in one of the private rooms in the library.
I always felt like this was the place I could focus and get the most done because
of all the resources the library has, but also it is really quiet!
