Student Nursing Association
Come be a part of an exciting group at Ouachita. Once a student declares a nursing major, they are eligible to participate in the Ouachita Student Nurses Association (SNA). This organization is a group of nursing majors that join together to prepare for initial licensure as registered nurses; convey the standards and ethics of the nursing profession; promote development of the skills that students will need as responsible and accountable members of the nursing profession; advocate for high quality health care; and develop the potential for maximal growth in future professional roles. Activities the SNA has participated in are service days, Special Olympics, TEAS preparation sessions, homecoming, nursing home care packages, AED training and more. Contact Dr. Megan Foshee (SNA Sponsor) for the application process and get ready to be part of a professional group that believes in service and advocacy for others!
